Christopher Shifflett - President
Chris has a diverse background in construction and over 14 years combined experience in residential and commercial building practices, design and management. His career in construction started as a laborer, working with his father on commercial construction projects. He then went on to work as a structural steel draftsman, architectural draftsman, field engineer, and worked his way into project management where he managed successful construction projects for over 10 years.
“I have always enjoyed construction and the challenges that come with it. Working with people to accomplish our goals is very rewarding to me and I believe everyone within our organization feels the same.”
As the President of PPD, Chris leads the company into a promising future where opportunities for growth and new ventures are present for the company and it’s employees.

Butch Terrell - General Superintendent
As General Superintendent, Butch, depending on the workload/superintendent needs of the company, will manage multiple jobs from the field or may be assigned to 1 large project as required. He has over 34 years experience in the drywall, metal stud and plastering trades. His experience and ability to obtain the necessary resources to get the job done helps make PPD a top performer in our industry.

Jim Assink - Project Manager
Jim is responsible for project management of multiple projects of various sizes. Jim’s background in construction ranges from residential carpentry to commercial project management and estimating.

Bill Barber - Project Manager/Assistant Estimator
As Project Manager/Assistant Estimator, Bill is responsible for tracking submittal packages, LEED documentation, assist in pricing of change orders, assist in estimation and take off of various jobs, BIM coordination and CAD production for shop drawings.

Whitney Barker - Project Manager
Whitney is responsible for project management of multiple projects of various sizes. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and has over 20 years of residential/industrial & commercial construction and manufacturing experience.

Dan Kashmere - Lead Estimator
As Lead Estimator Dan prepares competitive estimates for commercial light/heavy gauge framing, drywall, plaster & misc. additional scopes as required for bid packages. Participates in detailed scope reviews and project turnovers to assist project management staff. Available for pricing of change orders and major scope revisions on certain projects and always accessible to project teams for scope verification. He has accumulated over nineteen years of experience in the commercial metal stud and drywall industry.
